Shu Puerh
"Sui Yin Zi" shattered silver - in translation, which comes from the shape reminding silver nuggets used as currency dated back to Song dynasty and before. Shu puerh tea leaves pressed through the sort of mince machine where output are long spaghetti like threads which are heat dried in oven and broken into these small granules. It is solely mechanical process without any chemicals added!

This type of shu pu erh is available on market in different qualities - grades and also stories ( like Gushu material ) which consequently vary on prices. This one is high quality without any story attached. Very sweet and smooth tea with even smaller amounts.
This tea can be also boiled.
Please note that posted review from 11/05/2019 is referring to 2017 batch. This 2022 is sourced from the same producer and in same grade. The taste profile is very similar.
"Sticky Nice-Rice" ;-)
The dry warm smell already shows the upcoming sticky ricke smell, and something exciting as well.
When you brew it, and get on tasting it: comes more the sticky rice aroma, but arise more and more beside the Lao Cha Tou taste.
Sweet, mellow, creamy taste comes up along the sticky rice.
Gives 7-8 good infusions, but need attention to be quick.
Effect is strong: uplifting, energizing, and boost mental activity and creativity.
Interesting creamy sweet shu, which really worth it's price !
