Shu pu-erh from Xiaguan company made for Tibetan people. Despite of traditional xiaguan tea processing , this tea is missing classical smokey notes. Teh tea soup is red clean and sweet. Since its still considered as a new tea , some very slight notes of "dui wei" can be noticed. But it wouldn't be disturbing your drinking session.

Classic shu puer tuocha from Xiaguan tea company. As most of the ripes from that area of production , also this one prefers lighter infusions to achieve sweet tea soup with hint of caramel and dark chocolate and touch of smokiness. Harder steepings might bring up some sour notes as typical for Lincang or Baoshan areas. Dry walnuts notes from brewed leaves...

Identically similar box and wrapper inside with 2016y makes a bit confusing. Although this one is 2014 year, not full 2 years difference is between those two, since 14 is autumn and 16 is spring one. However, there is a bit difference in flavor. This tuo has much settled taste without "dui wei" notes and releases its creamy richness after 3+ infusions....

Bits of the spring tea leafs from Nanjian tea factory plantations located in 2400m.alt. of Wulinag mountain fermented and hard pressed into the 7g mini tuo cha. The size and uniformity of the leafs is not what is counts but the proper and unique fermentation in this area by not having a significant 'dui wei' even with fresh teas , mostly experienced with...

Vintage shu pu-erh tuo cha from Nanjian tea factory where it was stored until 2018 , takes few infusions until starts to release medium dark woody - sweet tea liqour with chocolate notes. Slow and medium fermentation which is specific for this area because the medium hot climate and not extreme humidity , which allows to shu pu-erh further better...

Medium fermentation tea cake release nice nutty scent while brewing and despite of it's young age has some woody notes. Present "huang pian" yellow leafs and right fermentation gives overall sweet taste without any discomfort "wu dui" taste.  We rate it as an average shu pu with good storage. Nice daily drinker for reasonable price.

this tea is rather bitter than sweet and not that rich, but it gives slight sweet feeling under tongue after few infusions. Tea soup is deep red color and has a smokey touch . This could be suitable for people who like drinking coffee without sugar. Wouldn't be our best choice for shu cha, but it obtained popularity among our Russian customers so we...
