Shu pu-erh tea pressed into the tuo 250g.
Sweet taste after 3rd infusion starts to emerge. Also color is more vivid and dark red after few brewings. The rich cream taste with very slight touch of walnuts can hold till 5-6th infusion, then color with taste gently fades away.
quite bitter with the first two infusions but slight sweetness comes after second-third brewing and so as color. Its a good daily drinker for decent price.
Classic shu puer tuocha from Xiaguan tea company. As most of the ripes from that area of production , also this one prefers lighter infusions to achieve sweet tea soup with hint of caramel and dark chocolate and touch of smokiness. Harder steepings might bring up some sour notes as typical for Lincang or Baoshan areas. Dry walnuts notes from brewed leaves...
Identically similar box and wrapper inside with 2016y makes a bit confusing. Although this one is 2014 year, not full 2 years difference is between those two, since 14 is autumn and 16 is spring one. Very good standard shu pu-erh from Da Yi company pressed into the 100g tuo. Full body , sweet & bitter , shu pu alive. Clean dark red tea liquor gives also sweet after taste "sheng jing" which could be caused with medium-mild fermentation as some green-ish leafs are still in present.
Bits of the spring tea leafs from Nanjian tea factory plantations located in 2400m.alt. of Wulinag mountain fermented and hard pressed into the 7g mini tuo cha. The size and uniformity of the leafs is not what is counts but the proper and unique fermentation in this area by not having a significant 'dui wei' even with fresh teas , mostly experienced with...

Gong Ting Shu puerh from Shuang Jiang tea factory. This 4g hard pressed mini tuo cha needs 3+ infusions to open up.
