"You will be eating smoked sausage" as mouth sensation appears like with the first infusion from this hard pressed tuo cha. Meaty flavor will fade away with 2nd steep and persistent typical smoky flavor is accompanied by gentle sweetness. Noticeably bitter but not astringent tea liquor will gain on sweetness if you play around with brewing time.

A little bit pricey jubilee edition of tuo cha from Xiaguan tea company. The not " fresh " taste of well settled sheng pu-erh is the sign of mixture 4 past years tea material, so technically speaking could be 2013-2017 sheng puerh tuo cha. Bitter ,sweet, woody and not really smokey , would be the main characteristics of the dark gold liquid in your cup...

Sheng pu-erh from Xiaguan company made for Tibetan monks. Pressed tuo in traditional mushroom shape gives clean golden color tea soup which is rich bitter and sweet aftertaste . As typical for this tea , also slight smoky notes are in present but not that heavy. Still young tea suitable for storage but also pleasant to drink now.

Mixture of yellow leafs "huang pian" from arbor and old trees pressed into the cake will hit your nose by its smokiness while you open the wrapper. The smoky notes are much distinctive then 8818 cake we have in shop. This tea also have nice touch of honey scent but in flavor it's been "killed" by heavy smoky notes. So why do we sell it?

Light touch of mushroom notes reveals that this iron hard pressed tea brick from Xiaguan company , wasn't stored in Kunming all the time. Yet, not uncomfortable wet notes will annoy your tea session. Smokiness is not that obvious as with fully dry stored XG products. 250g brick without any wrapping ( we wrap it into the paper bag for you ), 5 bricks in...
