Bada Mountain is located in the west part of County Menghai.
The mountain is just right beside Myanmar ( Burma ) and separated only by the river.
In Bada mountain live many different ethnic minorities.
There is an old wild tea tree which is by locals called "The king of tea trees".
The tree is over 1700 years old and 34 meters high.
南糯山
Nannuo mountain is located beside Jinghong City
and at the borders of County Menghai.
"Nannuo" in local ethnic language means " bamboo sauce ",
because in the past the mountain was full of bamboo
which local used for making the sauce.
Apart of the bamboo the another main important plant was the tea.
And as 1000 years ago the mountain still provides plenty of high quality tea.

Bulang mountain is located in the south-east part of County Menghai.
According to the history book records about 4000 years ago
the aboriginal people ( Bulang Minority)
started planting the tea trees. Until now ,the money made from the tea production
are still the main income for the locals.
There are few famous teas come from that mountain , like “Ban Zhang cha”, “ Lao Man E cha” .

Pa Sha is an ancient village ( alt. 2000m ) of Hani minority
which still live in order of their own culture and communicate in original language.

An interesting piece of 250g brick from good old comrades. The purple tea leafs were pressed and stored in Menghai for few years , then in Kunming , so it has a slight touch of wet storage but rather pleasant. ( not like HK or GZ storage ).
