.
Spring leaves from Miao Wan village situated Tong Mu Guan area ( Wu Yi Shan ) tea garden . Heavy oxidised, as typical red tea , but with following "yao qing" tossing the leaves, step processing as common for oolong. That gives the tea extra fruity and flowery sweet notes resembling wild varietal taste but more sweet like oolong tea with chocolate hint from the roasting. Single 5g pack.

Something different
I bought a rou gui some years ago on a trip to China and I found it to be a nothing tea. Maybe I didn't brew it right. Whatever, it didn't appeal to me. So it was with some trepidation that I decided to have a second go when I saw Alex's offering. I got the loose version early on and kept it awhile before trying. It's different from other teas I've tried but I like it. It has nice mouth feel and the taste lingers. I recommend it to those who are a bit adventurous.
