It's origin of Huang Long Mountain with Ding Mountain of Yixing Jiangsu Province. Zhi Ma Duan clay isn’t a common material, it is combination of nature purple clay with green clay which contain lots of sand grains. These grains increase the pores density of the surface and therefore ability of absorption of the tea flavor ( teapot memory ). Usually Zhi Ma Duan clay’s teapots are made in simple and classic designs , and suitable for many types of teas, include Pu-erh tea, black tea , oolong tea , hei cha , etc.
