.
Spring harvest from big wild varietal three tea trees. No Huang Pian selected out as the amount harvested is already small enough. Typical sweet sour fruity taste but also with oolong notes reminding the Oriental Beauty tea. That's due to the additional "yao qing " shaking processing.

Ancient wild tea trees on Ailao Shan.

Save the best 'til last
This is the last of my 2025 order from Alex but it has been worth waiting for. I have tried many years sheng teas from Yunnan and elsewhere but the Ailao Shan is my favourite. The tropical fruit aroma and taste are overwhelming with a hint of tartness to balance the sweetness of the fruit. Highly recommended.
