Smell of summer flowers coming out from gai wan. Tea soup is clean, mellow and slightly bitter. Slight astringency can be experienced after few infusions but overall taste is sweet and "hui gan" is guaranteed.

My favorite Yiwu sheng
Beautiful leaves, dry smell in hot teapot already shows the pine tree, and touch smoky-kind aroma. Taste of the brew: this smoky-kind character, which reminds more on pine tree smell, more has a unique nutmeg aroma. The tea soup is full bodied, smooth (important to use light water: like below 100mg/L mineral content), golden color, clean is sweet-smooth mellow. astringency and bitterness is very low level.
Effect: very calming, balancing Qi, wich became obvious after second-third cups. Has a slight warming effect, flows for the full body. Mind became peaceful and balanced and very clear. "Long ride" sheng: can have 12+ steeps easily. Masterpiece, and great value for its price!
