If you think that tea farmers are drinking their very good gu shu cha with the lunch or dinner, you are wrong. The "huang pian" yellow leafs which being selected out from pu-erh tea after all processing are used as daily drinker for farmers. This one particularly is a selection from old tea trees. And it does have some deep notes of caramel and honey.

With few infusions you also might experience "sheng jing" sweetness. Need to say over all taste is light bitter-sweet. The tea from "huang pian" is sweet, refreshing and not so "green" on your stomach.
Don't be afraid even go with 100 C on those leafs since farmers actually boil them in order brew out the real strength of tea liquor. The leafs are not so powerful as regular sheng pu so you will need to play around with time and amount a bit to get it right.
Due to problems with customs , we prefer to put the leafs into the paper bag without bamboo basket. If you are sure that customs of your country have no issues with importing such a thing, please let us know and we send you the leafs in original packaging.
