357g pu-erh tea cake entirely made of "huang pian" - the yellow tea leafs. The spring harvest from plantations and tea gardens of Simao ( Pu'er ) area were processed and pressed by Yun Hong Tea company. Yellow leafs give nice sweet tea soup along with intensive smoky flavor, typical for this type of leaf. Nice caramel-honey-smokey scent sticks to the gaiwan lid reminding Xiaguan Tea.

"Huang Pian" yellow leafs which are mostly being selected out from the "mao cha" in order to get higher grade of tea. Those leafs are not wasted but used as daily drinker of tea farmers. If you happen to have lunch in some tea farm, it's common to serve tea from those leafs as a drink during your meal.

The tea from "huang pian" is sweet, refreshing and not so "green" on your stomach. So imagine if you press that tea and store for few years....that's what you got in 8818 cake.
