Old yellow leafs from arbor tea trees growing around Bao Tang Lao Zhai near Na Ka. Fruity sour front taste of brewed leafs reveals that maocha has been drying slowly and got a bit oxidation / fermentation due to the humidity ( rainy days ) , which might not be a cup of tea for everyone. Yet we found this brick as an interesting flavor spec. providing decent "sheng jing" with "hui gan" despite ....

it's Lao Huang Pian without full body which generally new shengs offer from that area ( Mong song ) , where the prices of new tea gone up astronomically in past few years. We strongly suggest to try a sample ( ask for small free one with your order if you wish ) prior purchasing full brick!
Sour fruity
Wet smell of the leaves gives a distinct fresh sour fruit aroma, like naseberry. The taste beside huangpian taste, has a strong sour character, fruity sourness. I think has good, long term aging potential. Now, as fresh, still very acidy on stomach.
