Definitely get this to sample!
While this flavor is not my personal preference, I will not deny that this tea is of excellent quality. The leaves were intact and a decent size. The flavor is quite good. It is sweet after several cups, but also has an interesting not-quite-sour characteristic. As in the description, it is similar to green apple peel. We got 9 decent cups gong fu style before deciding to move on to other tea samples.
I've never had a tea like this one before, and it was a delightfully new experience. The sour-adjacent that turns to lingering sweetness was a new sensation that I enjoyed (I've since learned this is the fabled "hui gan" that I've read about). I've ordered several more so I can introduce this to other friends of mine.
As mentioned before, this isn't my personal flavor preference, but it is a delicious and exceptional tea. I **highly** recommend everyone add a sample to your tea order. It’s affordable, and it will broaden your tea knowledge in ways you didn’t even know tea could do.
