Sheng Puerh
No, it is not a shu puerh as name might suggest. In fact shu pu'er is oxidized if technically to be correct. This tea however is fermented because after kill green processing ( as regular sheng puerh ) it has been stored for additional fermentation without access of oxygen. It is sort of Gaba puerh but without applying the Nitrogen. Very aromatic sweet and sour tea without any bitterness.

You have to be patient with this 6g hard pressed brick speak of the brewing, because it needs 2-3 infusions to start release the liqour. Yet , you need to be very quick with brewing when leafs spread out , to avoid some bitter notes. It is enough to brew just half of the brick (3g) for 100-120ml brewing vessel. It is better to steep rather to brew "grandpa" style , because oversleeping would cause excessive bitterness. The relatively high price comes not from the tea trees origin but from complexity of the processing. The producers hold bunch of certificates proving the health benefits of thei product ( mostly liver, cholesterol , diabetes..etc. ) which we are not going to promote here since our Yunnan Craft tea selling policy.
