took around 10 sweet steepings before leafs were getting weaker. You can go with longer brewing times if desired boost of the sweetness with rainforest moist notes along with touch of mushrooms. We took a few pictures in lightbox and on daylight ( afternoon ) in order to compare. There is no any romantic story behind the sourcing of this tea to justify the price tag, just the taste.
Due to the long storage in loose form broken leafs are also in present.
We also have similar year of ye sheng from Yong De which has wet notes due to the local environment storage.
5 stars tea!
A high quality tea that has solid but gentle taste. Liked it very much! Brings in a good meditative state of mode and a positive mood.
