Xue Pian, meaning “Snow Flake,” designates Dancong tea made from the winter harvest. The winter picking is particularly suited for light oxidation and a very gentle roast, allowing the original character of the tea leaves to shine while emphasizing their vivid floral aroma. This preserves the tea’s natural essence and brings forth a lively bouquet reminiscent of fresh orchids and winter blossoms.
