Very thin and light ,  around 100g " ( weigh in hand without plate )  gaiwan made of red Jianshui clay but fired with wood ash to obtain cream surface and reduced access of air to make black color. The lid can be hung on ridge for resting and can serve for leaking out excessive water during leaves wash. Very fragile piece of pottery so not recommended for beginners, yet very comfortable to use.
