Hai Wan - Lao Tong Zhi ( 海湾 - 老 同志 (下关沱茶 )
Lao Tong Zhi ( in translation - Old comrades ) is one of famous Yunnan tea brands from Hai Wan Tea factory set up by two founders of the tea factory who are maters of processing Pu-erh tea in China.

Lao Tong Zhi ( in translation - Old comrades ) is one of famous Yunnan tea brands from Hai Wan Tea factory set up by two founders of the tea factory who are maters of processing Pu-erh tea in China.
An interesting piece of 250g brick from good old comrades. The purple tea leafs were pressed and stored in Menghai for few years , then in Kunming , so it has a slight touch of wet storage but rather pleasant. ( not like HK or GZ storage ). Well balanced tea liquor is soft and offers pleasant fruity sweet mouthfeel with touch of "Mei Zi" - the Chinese plum.
Slight smoky notes coming from hot gaiwan. We suggest to wash two times these bits & pieces of arbor trees pressed hard into the 4-5g mini tuo, in order to get the real "juice" out of it. Crushed leafs will spread quickly right after that and you might be experiencing excessive bitterness due to overstepping, so make sure that you brew it in proper...
