These roses are also known as Golden Edge Rose " Jin Bian Mei Gui ". The term " Golden Edge " is due to its yellow-silver ish edges of leafs around the flower. Flowers come from Li Jiang area where they grow at the foot of Ye Long mountain. These roses are quite similar to the "wild" ones we also have just the flowers are bit bigger, more fragile and slightly different flavor characteristics.

While brewing those roses , we recommend do the first wash with hot water as any other tea , in order to let flower open. Slight smokey notes can be experienced from dry flowers due to it's processing, but they would disappear within first infusion.
You will get very nice sweet gentle rose infusion after 2-3rd infusion. Keep the flowers in the jar, keep adding hot water each time and watch flowers releasing it's goodness.
