The handcrafted pottery with around 4000 years of history. As the name suggests the pottery is made by Dai minority by their traditional technique called slow wheel,and the whole processes involves more than 10 steps. Dai tao was originally made only by women and was used as ordinary utensils or religious artefacts . Nowadays is very hard to find really good dai tao in the market.
Hand made 175ml gaiwan . Made by Yunnan ethnic minority "Dai Zu " - Dai people. Carved bamboo leafs pattern on top of the lid which not seal gaiwan perfectly but not influencing brewing result. Two color pattern is achieved by firing of the clay.
Hand made 130ml gaiwan. Made by Yunnan ethnic minority "Dai Zu " - Dai people. Carved big leafs.
Hand made 160ml gaiwan . Made by Yunnan ethnic minority "Dai Zu " - Dai people. Carved Dai calligraphy on the body gaiwan and different patterns on the lid. Gaiwan is discounted because uneven circle shape. This doesn't have any influence on function, it's only esthetical issue visible from certain angle.

Mix of clay from Xishuangbanna ( Ganlanba ) is used for achieving softness with Da Meng Long clay for stability and Meng Hung clay ( gao ling tu ) for white coloring of the leaf design.
