A bit too much charcoal for me

This tea was a weak 3. By all means still an enjoyable tea, but one has to rate them. With this tea, I would first say that I find the description of the tea to be very accurate to my own sense impressions.

To add to that, I find that having tasted very many fine teas from Alex since I ordered this one, I have changed my tastes a bit, and the charcoaly taste no longer appeals as much as it once did. Half a year ago, I might have given this tea a 4 instead. But ... now I am spoilt, and so this one is ranked lower. I suspect the days when I will bring it forth are autumn and winter days when I feel the need for something a bit stronger, precisely that bit of charcoal. Then this tea will come most to its right.
